Fridgely vs Well Stockd: the original app is gone
The original Fridgely expiry tracker was removed from Google Play in April 2024, and the apps using the name now are unrelated. Well Stockd does the same job: it tracks what’s in your fridge and reminds you before food reaches its date.

The honest trade-off
What you may miss: Fridgely was small and single-purpose, and a scan plus a date was the whole app. Well Stockd is bigger and asks you to stock the kitchen before it earns its place. If an expiry alarm is genuinely all you want, this is more app than you need, though the expiry tracking here is free either way.
When you should stay with Fridgely
Stay with Fridgely if:
- You already moved to another expiry tracker and only came here to find out what happened. Nothing here recovers a Fridgely list.
- You want expiry alerts and nothing else, and a single-purpose app is the right size for that.
How to move off Fridgely
- There is nothing to export. The original app was removed and no export was ever documented for it, so start from the shelves themselves.
- Be careful with the name. The app called Fridgely in 2026 is a different app from a different developer. This page does not recommend it.
- Stock the fridge, freezer and pantry here. Type it, scan barcodes, read a receipt, or say what’s on the shelves, and review it before it’s saved.
